Reviews and Comments

Buster Crabbe starts in another one of the skid row backlot jungle pictures that were popular in the wake of the far superior Tarzan movies with Johnny Weissmuller. As usual, lots of stock footage of dangerous animals is unconvincingly interwoven with footage of the actors on sound studios. This one is unusually sexist; the female character is presented as strong-willed, but she never does anything but get into scrapes so the men can rescue her. If you like this kind of cheap pulp, you can do a lot worse, but this is not a good movie at all.
