This Italian film is in English, but with an Italian prologue and credits. The Christians and the Moors are in a holy war; the champion of one is fated to kill the champion of the other, and both fall in love with women on the opposing side. The great plot is irrevocably compromised by an inane, braindead script ("Farewell, Christian!" "You'll regret this, Moor!") and a misplaced electronic score. Good battle scenes though, despite its needlessly explicit depiction, featuring fascinating weapons and armor.
