Jeff Bridges survives a plane crash. Then he does some crazy stuff, and you're either supposed to understand why or feel stupid. Maybe that's being too harsh, because the basic point of the movie makes perfect sense...but it doesn't change the fact that you have to weather seven or eight dull scenes to get to each good one.
