I like Robin Williams' "schtick," as it is so often referred to. Put him in front of a camera, he goes nuts, and the script is written around him. But I didn't think his "schtick," as showcased in Fathers' Day, was funny at all. It's disheartening that this film, which stars two comedians I admire very much (Williams and Billy Crystal), is so wretchingly, unrelentingly unfunny. Crystal at least creates a believable character, but Williams doesn't even manage that.
