Despite an overwhelming urge to slap Leslie Caron's character and let her starve in the wilderness, this lightweight romantic comedy, starring Caron and Cary Grant, can be quite fun. Is entertainment and humor worth the frustration? Yes, but even repeat viewings of Father Goose, when I'm prepared for Loren's character's obnoxiousness, are bittersweet for me to endure.
