Reviews and Comments

One of the best showcases of Buster Keaton's physical comedy, College starts at Keaton's high school graduation. He's the valedictorian; in his speech, he waxes long about the bane of athletics. This doesn't bode well with the girl he loves, so when they get to college, he tries his hand at sports. His hilarious desecration of baseball and track and field are the film's finest moments, showing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, just how artful and ingenious Keaton was at choreographing and performing slapstick comedy.
