Pilot for the sixties television series, this Batman film is nothing at all like the series spawned by Tim Burton's 1989 version of Batman. Here, Adam West and Burt Ward, as Batman and Robin, pair up with some of the most consistently corny one-liners and cheesy action ever filmed. Like a lot of cheesy cult favorites, this is fun to watch with a group of others who want a good laugh, but comic book fans should probably stick with the newer film series.
