Like all of Disney's earliest work, Bambi is a marvelously constructed tale that is funny, sincere, meaningful, and fulfilling. As most already know, the story is about a young deer learning about the joys and horrors of life. The faceless, nebulous enemy of man makes for one of Disney's most terrifying villains.
