This lighthearted 20th Century Fox musical must have looked great on paper. It paired crooner and teen idol Pat Boone with that queen of movie musicals, Shirley Jones. A better script would have helped, but it's fairly enjoyable as it is. A city boy (Boone) gets into trouble and, at the request of a court judge, moves to the country to help out at his uncle's. There, he is taught to handle horses and run sulky races -- except his interests lie more with fast cars. See a widescreen version of this one; the pan-n-scan version butchers almost every scene.
