I don't really know what to rate "Manos;" I'm tempted to give it one turkey, but others may find it to be a gut-busting, five-turkey extravaganza. I think that will all come down to how much your enjoyment of a bad movie is affected by what actually happens. Because in "Manos," as far as I can tell, nothing ever does. There are several shots out a car window of passing fields (at least one of which scrolls the wrong way), and that's about as exiting as it gets. But, then, as far as bad acting (when there is acting), bad production techniques (when there seem to be production techniques), and bad writing (if this ever *was* written) are concerned, "Manos" is a classic.
Response From RinkWorks:
If I can ever find this movie in a local video rental store, I'll definitely watch and review it. I've heard too many bad things about it not to.
