"The Incredible Melting Man" (1977) is my personal pick for the worst movie ever made. It's much more fun to tell about than to actually see. Perhaps if you were prepared in advance you could actually stand to sit all the way through it. It's the story of an astronaut who survives being zapped by strange radiation in outer space, only to find that he is melting. All through the film, flesh is liquifying and dripping off him. Also, for no very clear reason, he begins eating people. Finally he melts away into a gory puddle. (Sorry to give away the ending.) The performances, and everything else in the movie for that matter, are bad enough to be embarrasing to watch. Again the movie's only redeeming quality is to be able to say you've seen it and get a laugh out of its premise.
