I generally think of myself as a pretty tolerant movie viewer, but "House of Death" was a little too much for me to bear. The movie is set in a country town where a killer is on the loose, wreaking havoc everywhere. He kills a couple of people near a river, and the bodies of these two victims, portrayed by two Barbies floating in a bath tub, are pointlessly shown floating down a river throughout the movie. The next victim is shot with an arrow in the middle of a public park. Once hit, she runs to an abandoned carnival (I guess all towns have these?) where she is asphixiated with a plastic bag while riding the hobbie horses. The surviving teens of the town proceed to a cemetery to tell ghost stories after this incident.

I couldn't help but wonder at this point, "Where's the House of Death." No house had made an appearance yet. Soon, though, the house appears. The teens run into it to avoid a storm. They are then murdered rather quickly while in the house. Who does the killer turn out to be? A mentally challenged individual who had only been featured in a couple of scenes up to that point. He starts having flashbacks to his childhood and being inside of what looks like a whore house, when he is shot in the head by a cop. His head explodes, and the movie ends. I have no idea why he did it or even who the hell he was. This movie is a comedy in horror film clothing.
